LONG ISLAND
Long Island, located approximately 90 kilometers from Port Blair on the route to Rangat, is a newly emerging tourist destination shaped like a bird. This island offers a growing number of accommodations, with numerous rooms and hotels set to open. Lalaji Bay, just 5.6 kilometers from the jetty, boasts a long beach, making it a unique and perfect spot for boating, fishing, and various water sports. Long Island is well-connected to both Port Blair and Rangat through regular ferry services. Additionally, a helipad is already in place and operational for public use. Yeratta features a small jetty, enabling tourists to reach Long Island in as little as 40 minutes via a fiber boat or 1 hour by ferry boat from Yeratta Jetty. As tourist interest continues to grow, more boat options will become available between Yeratta and Long Island.
